Why study abroad?

By travelling abroad and learning about other’s cultures, we can expand and diversify the knowledge we have to bring different perspectives to a problem. It helps broaden one’s mind and motivate them to think out of the box.

Who can study abroad?

Anyone who is ready to take a chance and take a leap of exposure and experiences, study abroad is the best choice for you. However, it is better to get a good GPA (i.e. greater than 2.0 or higher) as suggested by the Study overseas consultants. You are likely to get a better chance of getting into the program.

Where can I study?

It is certainly not an easy task to choose and pick out where you plan to study abroad. However, it all depends on either or your personal interests, the cost, career prospects you choose to. Choose the country that fulfils your study program needs along with your safety and employment prospects

Can language be a barrier?

Language can be a major concern, however, if you are going to an English-speaking country – you only have to take care of it. You can improve your skills and learn the language which would be an addition to your time you stay in abroad.

When can I apply for admission?

Applying to universities depends on their intakes. Most universities and colleges abroad offer two intakes – Fall and Spring. The fall intake usually starts in September (which ends in December) whereas as the Spring intakes begin in January (and ends in May).

How long does the application process take?

We recommend you begin your application process at least a year in advance to give enough time for your applications to be processed and to prepare for your time overseas. Remember, the academic year begins at different times of the year in different countries.

Can I work and study at the same time?

Working while you study can complement your educational and living experience when studying abroad. If you pursue a course at a degree level or above, you may be permitted to work while on an international student visa. But before you undertake any paid work, make sure that your visa permits it. The opportunity for students to work part-time during their studies varies from country to country. Many universities have a dedicated job centre on campus for students that advertises job opportunities and internships to help students develop various skills. The university careers service is also a useful source of information.

Will my overseas qualification be accepted in my home country?

The skills and qualifications employers and professional registration bodies require will vary from country to country. If, for example, you are working towards a career with strict entry requirements such as medicine, engineering, accounting, or teaching, conduct some research with the relevant registration bodies in India for advice.

Which countries provide option for Free Education?

So far,public universities in Germany, Italy and Norway provide courses with Free Tuition (provided you are eligible for the course).

How much will it cost me to study abroad?

Cost of studying undergraduate courses: You will have to set aside an average of INR 15 lakhs per year to 1.50 Cr towards your studies. If you intend to enrol in the top  universities, this will come up to INR 1.50 Cr per year. Cost of studying postgraduate courses: Postgraduate courses would cost around INR 16 lakhs per year.

How long does it take to get a Visa?

The entire visa application processing takes somewhere between two weeks and four months, depending on the type of visa. Please check what visa category you are going to need to have enough time left for the application process.

How much stay-back period can I get?

With the help of the Post Study Work Visa, the student can stay back in the country for an extended period (limited), while continuing with the employment.

What examinations are required?
Some of the most popular, and most important international entrance exams include the SAT, MCAT, LSAT, GMAT, GRE, IELTS and the TOEFL. These are required for admission to universities and colleges in various countries across the globe.
What are the documents universities required for application?
Documents pertaining to your personal information and achievements. Such as Passport, Resume, marksheets, College Degree, Work Experience certificate, Extra Curricular Certificates. Beyond these, you would need English Language proficiency proof and referees to refer you.
